Our Ethics

Ikigai Coffee and partners are deeply involved with farmers, cooperatives and communities in Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda and Colombia for 5+ years. All relationships are based on expanding a long term vision where both ends can equitably grow as entrepreneurs and human beings.

We do this by following CoPLiQAf;

– Cost of Production
– Living Income
Quality
– Agro Ecologic farming

On top of that, our partners take care of micro crediting, which allows producers to have easy access to cheaper loans. Rural banks can charge between 25%-40% interest rates where finances are scarce.
