Traditional coffee trade does ofter not cover cost of production nor provides coffee producers with a living income, the result is a continuous decline in effort and of coffee quality.

In Genova (CO) and Rutabo (RW) the coffee producers receive a payment based on CoP, LI, a premium for quality and a premium to reinvest in regenerative agroforestry. This strong gesture creates an upward spiral of coffee quality over time.

The soil will become richer in minerals and nutrients, making the plants more resilient, the fruits better and eventually tastier coffee beans.
